Rifai: Salam should apologise in case of failing attempt to form cabinet

 Deputy Kamel Rifai called on Prime Minister-designate, Tammam Salam, "to apologize in case he fails to form a new cabinet," hoping that the new Cabinet formation opportunity would not be lost this time."We will name a neutral figure to form the Cabinet, particularly amid the ongoing tension in the region," the Deputy said.The MP told the "Voice of Lebanon" on Thursday that March 8 team has offered a big concession through accepting the 8-8-8 formula, calling on the other team (March 14) to accept this step and facilitate the new Cabinet formation.He confirmed that the People, Army and Resistance equation would always be constant, stressing that "March 8 will refuse to discuss it in the ministerial statement."He pointed that the idea of portfolio rotation is acceptable and is currently under study.
