A roadside bomb targeting a paramilitary vehicle in Pakistan's south-western province of Balochistan killed at least two people Tuesday and wounded eight, officials said. The blast occurred on a major thoroughfare in the provincial capital, Quetta, where explosives strapped to an unattended bicycle were detonated by a remote trigger, said Murtaza Baig, a spokesman for the Frontier Corps paramilitary force. The explosion badly damaged the troops' vehicle, wounding three soldiers, Baig was quoted as saying by DPA. Two dead and five injured civilians were brought to Quetta's Civil Hospital, hospital head Mohammad Nawaz said.
