Rohani: Iran ready for talks on comprehensive nuclear deal

Iranian President Hassan Rohani said Monday his country is ready to negotiate with major powers on comprehensive agreement in connection with the Iranian nuclear program."We are ready to have better ties with all countries, ranging from Asia to Africa, Europe and America, based on mutual respect and common interests," he said during his meeting with foreign diplomats on the eve of the 35th anniversary of victory the Islamic Revolution 1979."Tehran is ready to strike a final and comprehensive agreement with the P5+1 group on its peaceful nuclear program," President Rohani said, affirming that his country seeks only peaceful nuclear technology.Tehran keeps the door open for inspectors of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to verify the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, he said just one week ahead of the new round of talks between Iran and the P5+1 in Vienna.President Rohani affirmed that the Iranian people aspire for nuclear weapon-free world and back the efforts aiming to denuclearize the Middle East.The commitment of all countries to their respective obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) contributes to the ultimate goal of building a nuclear-free and more secure world, he went on.As for the anti-terrorism combat, he urged for more concerted efforts to combat all forms of extremis and terrorism, and warned the countries that support terrorist groups of grave consequences.President Rohani condemned the unfair policies of the Zionist entity in Jerusalem and other occupied Palestinian territories, deeming this policy as the main cause of instability in the Middle East.The unrest in the region, including the war in Syria, could have spillover and negative impacts on the entire world, he added.
