ROK president to visit Philippines

Republic of Korea (ROK) President Lee Myung-bak will pay a state visit to the Philippines from Nov. 20 to 22, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs announced Monday. Lee is scheduled to meet with Philippine President Benigno Aquino III to discuss ways to further enhance the "rapidly growing relations between the two countries". Recent developments and the future direction of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Philippines-ROK relations will also be discussed.
