Russia affirms continuity of its support to Sudan

The Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, has commended positive stances of Russia regarding the settlement of the dispute between Sudan and the State of South Sudan. In a statement following his meeting with his Russian counterpart in the context of his current visit to Moscow, Karti said that Russia stances have helped referring the issue to the concerned institutions. On his part, the Russian Foreign Minister, Serji Lavrov, has affirmed the continuity of his country's support to the Sudan leadership for normalizing Sudan relations with South Sudan State. He affirmed his country's concern with reducing the number of disputes in the African continent.
