Russia does not interfere with conflict in Yemen

Russia does not allow whatever interference with the conflict in Yemen, spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said on Sunday, and representatives of that country’s authorities should be not involved in fantasies but should work on eliminating sufferings of the civilians.
He commented on information published in the media claiming Yemen's Foreign Minister Riyadh Yassin has claimed Russia is supplying weapons to the conflict-seized country by the aircrafts, which Russia is using to evacuate its citizens. The published information also includes claims Russia was trying to use those aircrafts to try evacuating former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
"If this information is true to life, then the absurd, irresponsible and provocative statements of the kind do not rather require any comments," he said. "Russia under the complicated circumstances has been evacuating from Yemen its citizens and citizens of many other countries, including those in the anti-Houthi coalition. We do not allow, unlike many others, whatever interference with the domestic conflict in Yemen."
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said Yemeni foreign minister, who, as Russia knows, is abroad now, should "not be involved in fantasies, but should be concerned about sufferings of the Yemen Republic’s civilians, where the number of victims is several hundred already."
"We once again confirm it necessary to implement the Russian initiative to have a humanitarian pause in Yemen, which is being discussed now at the UN Security Council," he said.
