Russia grants Egypt advanced Molniya missile corvette

Russia has granted Egypt a Molniya-class missile warship within the framework of military cooperation protocols between the two countries.
The measure falls within the context of Russia's continued support to Egypt, especially the Arab state's efforts to realize security and stability in the Middle East.
Russia will send efficient technical teams to train Egyptian cadres to use the warship.
Molniya missile corvette is one of most advanced warships fit out with armament mechanism, including surface-to-surface missiles and other artillery equipment.
The warship participated in the New Suez Canal inauguration ceremony on August 6.
