
Russia's President Vladimir Putin discussed with King Abdullah II of Jordan in a phone conversation Saturday the latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa region.
During the conversation, the two sides also stressed the importance to boost international efforts in the anti-terrorism field, Russian Presidency's press office said in a statement.
They also mulled bilateral relations and reiterated their determination to improve and enhance these relations, noted the statement.
Recently, the Jordanian King have made several visits to Russia, during which several important agreements have been signed between the two counties, among which notably the building of two nuclear reactors in the Kingdom, in addition to boosting cooperation ties in military and technological fields.
