A Russian delegation grouping businessmen and representatives of the Industry Ministry and the Russian Embassy in Cairo inspected Sunday the Russian industrial zone, which is designed to be set up in Kilo 109 on Suez-Cairo road.
The delegation along with Suez Governor El Arabi al Serwi, deputy of Red Sea Ports Authority Ali el Sherif and representatives of the Industrial Development Authority inspected Adabiya port and reviewed the steps and necessary proposals to establish silos inside the port.
The governor, for his part, asked the officials of the Industrial Development Authority in coordination with the governorate to prepare the necessary studies for the required facilities in the area.
He further said that establishing this industrial area will contribute to promoting economy as part of the national project of the Suez Canal.
The project will also increase trade and industry movement, he added.
