A media source at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday said that Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, will discuss with the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) the crisis in Syria and other issues. The source said that the delegation, comprising Foreign Ministers of Chile, Costa Rica, Haiti and Cuba, will discuss issues of the crisis in Syria, bolstering the role of the UN, preserving international security and security, fighting international terrorism and lifting the embargo imposed on Cuba in its visit to Moscow scheduled between 28-30 of May. CELAC Group comprises members of 33 countries with population that exceeds 500 million. The GDP of these countries hits USD 5 trillion with USD 1 trillion-worth economic exchange.
