The 2nd Counter-Terrorism Consultation between South Korea, China and Japan will be held in Sendai, Japan, on July 18, the South Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday. The forthcoming Consultation will discuss measures of extensive trilateral cooperation under the agenda items, including sharing information on the terrorism situation in rapidly-changing areas, such as the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, aviation security, cooperation on response to cyber terrorism, and strengthening developing countries’ counter-terrorism capabilities, the statement said. On the sidelines of the upcoming Consultation, the 3rd South Korea-China Counter-terrorism Consultation will be held in Seoul on July 16, and the 6th South Korea-Japan Counter-terrorism Consultation will be held in Sendai on July 19. The meetings are expected to boost bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism. The South Korea-Japan-China Counter-Terrorism Consultation, created in accordance with "Vision 2020," which was agreed on by the leaders of the three countries in May, 2010, was first held in Jeju, Korea in 2011.e
