Sabahi denounces killing of 2 Brotherhood members

Leading opposition figure Hamdeen Sabahi denounced Friday the killing of two members of the Muslim Brotherhood in clashes that erupted in the Nile Delta towns of Zagazig and Mansoura. "Egyptian bloodshed is prohibited," Sabahi, the founder of the leftist Popular Current opposition group, tweeted. He urged protesters to remain peaceful and refrain from violence. "To the great Egyptian people who will take to streets to express their will, I say peacefulness is the weapon to prevail," he said in another tweet.
