Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received here today Advisor to the President of the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Mustafa Othman Ismail, who handed to the Prince a message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud from Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common concern. The Prince also received the Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vazoumana Torre, who handed him a copy of his credentials in preparation for its submission to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prince Saud Al-Faisal also met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yang Hong Lin, who bade farewell to the Prince at the end of his diplomatic assignment in the Kingdom. He also received Jordan's former Ambassador Qaftan Al-Majali, and decorated him with King Abdul Aziz Medal of the first class in recognition of his efforts in developing relations between the two countries during his tenure in the Kingdom. The meetings were attended by a number of undersecretaries of the Foreign Ministry.
