
The anti-drugs officers in Taif province have managed to monitor and follow up a network for drug reception and smuggling, noting that on Wednesday, 28/03/1435 they have arrested three (3) smugglers, two of them Saudis and the third a Yemeni, the spokesman for General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) said .The officers seized a quantity of (1,120,237) million of Amphetamines Tablets in the smugglers’ possession with a market value of (50,410,665 million Saudi riyals), said the spokesman in a statement relayed by Saudi Press Agency(SPA) today.The spokesman further noted that formal procedures have been taken to investigate those involved in the narcotics smuggling attempt.
