A delegation of the Riyadh-based Saudi Development Fund (SDF), led by Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Areefi, Director of Asian Projects Management at SDF, left here today after a several day visit to Yemen. In a departure statement at Sanaa International airport, Al-Areefi said he discussed with Yemeni officials at the concerned authorities a number of projects proposed by the Yemeni government within the phased investment program to be financed through Saudi Arabia's pledged share of support announced at the recently-concluded Donors Conference for Yemen. So far, projects worth about one billion U.S. dollars have been appropriated, he said, adding that more will come.
