
As many as 36 Daesh militants, including 6 suicide bombers, were killed, during their attempt to target Iraqi joint forces northeast of Baiji in Salahuddin province.
Also, 18 terrorists were killed US-led airstrikes in Anbar province.
Local and security sources said Peshmerga forces, backed by US-led airstrikes repelled a Daesh attack southeast of Mosul in Nineveh, where 12 terrorists, Kurdish officer and three Peshmerga soldiers were killed.
Meanwhile, the US-led coalition bombed four boats, belonging to Daash near the al Baghdadi after their to sneak into the district depending on information claimed that the federal police forces withdrew from the area.
For his part, Salahuddin operations commander Lt. Gen. Abdul Wahab al-Saadi said that the security forces backed by popular crowd troops completed the liberation of several districts in the province and killed three of Daesh leaders there.
