
Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon . At the outset of the session, the Cabinet expressed its condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and the Second Deputy Premier, on the death of Prince Musaed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul). On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Second Deputy Premier expressed his thanks for all who expressed their sincere condolences. He praised Allah Almighty for unlimited blessings bestowed upon the Kingdom, particularly security, stability and the honor of service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors of pilgrims and Umrah performers, also expressing his thanks to all the employees of the sectors that participated in the service of pilgrims and Umrah performers during the holy month of Ramadan, which enabled them to perform their rituals in a safe atmosphere. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet was briefed on reports on the development of events and their implications in a number of sisterly Arab countries, appreciating highly the message addressed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on the events in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Cabinet stressed the contents of the message stemming from the manners of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who always stands by the right without care for interests or ephemeral gains , and his strong keenness and support for brothers in Egypt against terrorism, misguidance and sedition against anyone who tries to prejudice its internal affairs, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia did not ask for more than that the Egyptian people and Arab and Islamic nations stand as one man and that reason and wisdom prevail to preserve the security and stability of Egypt.
