Security tightened in Port Said to foil any terrorist attacks

Security measures were beefed up in Port Said governorate to face any terrorist attempts at the advent of Christmas and the constitutional referendum, a police officer said Thursday. Al-Arab Police Station Warden Nader Morad said the security forces cordoned off churches and police and vital facilities as well as deployed to face any planned Muslim Brotherhood (MB) protests. Police and army forces, in cooperation with citizens, will deal strictly with any MB terrorist elements, he further said. He urged all Egyptians to cast their vote in the upcoming constitutional referendum.
