Serbia , Kosovo reach agreement on normalizing relations

Serbia and Kosovo reached an agreement Friday after months of talks brokered by the European Union over the normalization of their relations, dpa reported. "I want to congratulate them for their determination over these months and for the courage that they have," EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said of Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and his Croatian counterpart, Hashim Thaci. "What we're seeing is a step away from the past and for both of them a step closer to Europe," Ashton added.
