A Palestinian youth was killed and five others were wounded in a series of Israeli warplanes attacks that targeted, early Tuesday, various parts of Gaza. Spokesperson for the emergency services in Gaza Adham Abu Selmiyah said that "a 29-year-old man, Mousa Ashtoy, was killed in an Israeli raid that struck east Gaza this morning, while three others were injured and were carried to the nearest hospital to get the necessary medical treatment." He further said that "there was another raid where four Israeli missiles hit Hamas' Izz El Deen Al-Qassam 's training site in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, causing material damage but no reports of fallen causalities." A third attack occurred in Rafah where Israeli war crafts struck, twice, another training site of Izz El Deen Al-Qassam and a tunnel on the Gaza-Egypt borders. Medical sources said that two Palestinians, including a child, were seriously injured on the Rafah attack. They were transferred to Abu Yousif Al-Najjar's hospital to receive medical care. Meanwhile, an Israeli army spokesperson explained that these air raids came as a response to two grad rockets launched towards Be'er Sheva, south of Israel by some Palestinian gunmen. The missiles exploded in an open area in the vicinity of Be'er Sheva. There were no reports of physical injuries or damage. Sirens were heard in the city and in other surrounding communities such as Lehavim, Meitar, and Omer. "These Israeli attacks targeted Palestinian gunmen and a tunnel for smuggling weapons in southern Gaza", the Israeli spokesperson reiterated.
