The Israeli army arrested a 23-year-old Palestinian youth from the central West Bank city of Nablus, on suspicion that he stabbed a settler, the Israeli daily (Yedioth Aharonoth) reported. According to Palestinian media, the army closed the Za'tara roadblock to all Palestinian traffic, while dozens of military vehicles were also deployed in the area. Several Israeli settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles, near Salfit, causing damage to a number of vehicles, it added. In related news, Israeli Channel 7 reported that the army kidnaped a Palestinian youth allegedly trying to infiltrate into Shavei Shomron settlement, in the northern West Bank district of Nablus.
