Settlers storm Joseph tomb in Nablus under Israeli army protection

On Thursday 24th January, Hebrew-language sources reported that settlers stormed Joseph's Tomb in Nablus on pretext they want to perform their religious rituals at the place. The sources said that hundreds of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army, raided the tomb and that a group of young Palestinians tried to attack them and threw stones at them, as settlers claimed. An Israeli source said that Joseph's Tomb needs restoring and protection, as settlers claimed they discovered attempts to burn the tomb by Palestinians and that they {Palestinians} always throw trash at the vicinity.
