Shaath calls on China to play more effective role in political operation

Fatah Central Committee member Nabil Shaath called on China to play more effective role in the political operation.
This came Monday during a meeting with Chinese Special Envoy to the Middle East Gong Xiaosheng by Shaath.
Shaath asserted the necessity that Beijing demonstrates more support to the Palestinian cause along with Russia, EU and Latin America in the international gatherings.
He also asserted the importance of negotiations to end the Israeli occupation and reach a political solution by establishing a Palestinian state.
Shaath lauded the historical ties between China and Palestine, appraising the continuous Chinese support to the Palestinians in the different domains.
On the Other hand, Gong asserted his country's support to the Palestinian cause.
