Senior member at Fatah's Central Committee Nabil Shaath has praised HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's efforts in support of the Palestinian cause and people. During a phone conversation with Qatar News Agency (QNA), Shaath highlighted that the State of Qatar was working within a remarkable political framework that contributed to resolve many complicated issues Sudan, Lebanon and Palestine. Shaath believed that Qatar would play a main and distinguished role in the Palestinian bid to join the UN next September, noting that Qatar's political relations would help in mobilizing the international community support to win the international recognition of a Palestinian independent state. Shaath called on all Arab countries to support the Palestinian UN bid and help more international recognitions of the Palestinian independent states and Jerusalem as its capital. Shaath noted that nothing will prevent Fatah from going to the United National to recognize the establishment of the Palestinian state because it is a Palestinian right.
