
Head of His Royal Highness Premier’s Court Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received here the Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Isam Saleh Awad and discussed with him ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields. HRH Premier’s Court Chief affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to develop deep-rooted bilateral ties at all levels and exert more efforts in order to upgrade joint cooperation in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. He also re-affirmed Bahrain’s support for brotherly Egypt and backing of all measures taken by its leadership for the sake of consolidating its national security and stability in a way that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Egyptian people for more progress and prosperity. Shaikh Hussam praised Egypt’s pioneering role and widely-acknowledged historical stances, reiterating Bahrain’s interest in the critical phase Egypt is going through, given Egypt’s importance and key role across the Arab world throughout history. He expressed hope that brotherly Egypt restores its security and stability as soon as possible, wishing the fraternal Bahraini-Egyptian relations more progress in all fields. On his part, the Egyptian Ambassador lauded the advanced level of bilateral ties, praising HRH Premier’s assertion of the solidity of those relations. He expressed his country’s desire to continue enhancing its ties with the kingdom further.
