Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit to the National Charter Monument, accompanied by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Board Chairman Dr. Esam Fakhro and members. They were welcomed by Royal Court Follow-up Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Atiyatallah Al Khalifa and Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi. The delegation listened to a detailed account on the edifice, its goals and main constituents as well as the civilizational message it conveys to the Bahraini people, being reminiscent of the National Action Charter that received 98.4% of the votes in February 2001. They toured the monument and visited the department which shows trade development brought about by the Royal Reform Project as well as the temporary building of King Hamad Digital Library where they got updated on part of its content that links researchers to over 156 million e-titles from all over the world. They expressed happiness about the valuable information provided by the monument on the history of Bahrain and the achievements made so far, lauding the attractive and stimulating methods used in providing the scientific material. The delegation was accompanied during the visit by Education Ministry Undersecretary for Resources and Services Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Education and Curricula Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al Mutawa, the National Charter Monument Director General Professor Khawla Al Muhannadi and King Hamad Library Project Director Dr. Mohammed Al Asiri.
