
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has received the Consultative Council's reply to his speech at the opening of the 1st Ordinary Session of the Sharjah Consultative Council, SCC's 9th Legislative Chapter.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan received the reply from Khawla Al Mulla, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council, who paid a visit to His Highness along with the members of the Council Board and the committee in charge of preparing a reply to H.H. speech, at the Ruler's Office.
During the meeting, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan stressed the important role played by the SCC in supporting the government to achieve a comprehensive development through suggesting and discussing legislation and transferring citizens' issues in order to ensure participation of the sons of the emirate in the march of progress.
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan noted that the Consultative Council's member by its close communication with the community, can convey what the citizens needs and what meets the needs of the community, stressing on the need to communicate with different segments of society.
