The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan will pay a state visit to the United Kingdom from 30th April to 1st May 2013 upon an invitation from Queen Elizabeth II.This is the first state visit His Highness the President pays to the United Kingdom since the visit of the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1989.Queen Elizabeth and The Duke of Edinburgh paid two state visits to the UAE in 1979 and 2010.
