
All Government Ministers have placed their resignation at disposal of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to "enable His Highness prepare for requirements of the upcoming stage," stated the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs on Monday. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, also the Minister of Health, said in a statement to KUNA, "His Highness the Prime Minister has opted to submit the matter to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to take what he may deem as proper for serving the national interest." Due to the fact that all the ministers have tendered their resignation to His Highness the Prime Minister, "The Government will not be able to attend the National Assembly sessions till the issue of the resignations has been resolved," he added.
