
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met with senator John McCain, chair of the US Senate’s Armed Services Committee, on Tuesday at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed senator McCain and discussed the bilateral ties between the UAE and the United States, and ways to enhance them in all fields, national news agency Wam reported.
They exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as current efforts to resolve the crises in the region.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, National Security Adviser, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
