
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed a number of regional issues specially ways of supporting the political process in Syria, the completion of the constitutional framework in support of the Government of National Reconciliation in Libya and providing international support and the coordination to fight against terrorism in the region.
The Middle East News Agency, MENA, has quoted the foreign minister spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid as saying that the telephone call focused on the follow-up of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The U.S. Secretary of State reiterated his country's commitment to support stability and economic growth in Egypt.
