Shoukry calls for timetable to end Israel's occupation of Palestine

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry took part on Monday in the meeting of the ministerial committee entrusted by the recently-held Arab summit in Sharm El Sheikh with following up the summit resolutions on the Palestinian issue.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said Shoukry stressed during the meeting the importance of drawing up a vision and a time table to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine and establish a Palestinian state on areas Israel occupied in 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, who attended the meeting along with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Morocco and Palestine, expressed his country's keenness on coordination with Arab states to reach a permanent solution to the Palestinian problem.
