Shoukry sends message to Congolese FM on Egypt's nomination to UNSC

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Raymond Tshibanda received a message from his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on Egypt's nomination for non-permanent membership in the UNSC in 2016-2017.

The message was delivered by Egypt’s Ambassador in Kinsasha Hani Salah Saturday.

The meeting took up Congo's participation in the G3’s meetings and summit due in Sharm el Sheikh in June 6-10.

The meeting also touched on the phone call of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Congolese President Joseph Kabila.

Also, Salah met with Congolese Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development Blenvenue Liyota Ndjoli.

Salah voiced Egypt’s wish to implement bilateral cooperation protocol to implement a project of integral administration of water resources with an Egyptian grant of 10.5 million dollars.
