Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Salaheddin Abdel Sadeq received Sunday Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo.
The pair probed means to promote media cooperation between the two countries in light of the strategic partnership forged during President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's recent visit of China.
They also tackled memos of understanding in the media domain that will be signed soon by SIS, the Chinese Xinhua news agency and the General Administration of Press and Publication.
SIS is planning to make its website available in Chinese to explain Egyptian policies and developments to the Chinese public opinion, Abdel Sadeq said.
