President Abdel Fattah El Sisi delivered a message of peace to the whole world as he led a marathon of 3,000 youth in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh Wednesday morning.
The marathon was held on the sidelines of the first National Youth Conference, which opened on Tuesday in Sharm el Sheikh under the theme "Innovate..Advance".
Speaking to the participating youth at the end of the marathon, President Sisi said he would like to seize the opportunity of his participation in the conference to deliver a message of peace from the land of peace and prophets to the whole world.
This message is sent to the whole world that the Egyptians are working on achieving peace, security and stability in their country, Sisi said.
It is important to preserve peace and fight violence and terrorism that affected and ruined the world countries.
Egypt is reputed worldwide for its distinct 7,000-year-old record of civilization, Sisi said, adding Egypt is the mother of civilizations and the land of peace.
"From this venue, I, together with the great Egyptian youth, deliver a message of peace, stability and prosperity to the whole world," Sisi said.
We seek to achieve prosperity for all Egyptians. We would like to grasp this opportunity to deliver anew a message of peace to world countries, Sisi said.
"We wish the voice of Egypt will be heard.. the voice of peace and reconstruction, and not the voice of murder, sabotage and terrorism," the president added.
He concluded his word by saying "Tahya Misr..Tahya Misr..Tahya Misr (Long Live Egypt..Long Live Egypt..Long Live Egypt)".
A large number of ministers, including the defence, interior, youth and sports, foreign, immigration and housing ministers, participated in the running marathon.
