Sisi underlines importance of Egyptian-Kazakh cooperation in fighting suicide

Visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed on Friday the importance of cooperation between Egypt and Kazakhstan in fighting terrorism.

During a joint press conference with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev, Sisi praised the warm reception and generous hospitality he received during his current visit to Kazakhstan.

The visit reflects deeply-rooted relations between the two countries, he said, adding that Egypt is keen on bolstering ties with Kazakhstan in all fields, especially trade and economic scores.

The two countries share almost identical views on several regional and international issues, Sisi said.

Sisi called on the international community to exert more efforts to settle regional and international disputes. 

Sisi arrived in Astana early Friday on the first leg of an Asian tour that will also take him to Japan and South Korea.
