Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to the US will have a positive effect on Egypt and the Middle East, said
Chairman of Egyptian-European business Council Mohammed Abul Enein.
Talking about Sisi's meeting with US President Donald Trump yesterday, Abul Enein described the summit between Sisi and Trump as successful and attained all the goals in the interest of Egypt and the Middle East.
In a statement Tuesday, Abul Enein expected that Egypt and the US will lead a strong strategic alliance to combat terrorism.
The international community should realize statements said by Sisi and Trump during the bilateral summit regarding terrorism, which has no religion or homeland, he added.
The Egyptian-US ties are expected to witness consensus on all the issues which concern the Middle East, he further said.
He also saluted all the Egyptian expatriates in the US who headed for Washington to support President Sisi during his visit to the US.
