Slovenian Ambassador to Egypt Tanja Miskova said on Wednesday that potentials of Egypt and Slovenia have not been exploited yet.
Speaking at a symposium attended by representatives of 10 Slovenian companies, Miskova said talks are underway to allow businessmen from both countries to exchange visits in the coming period.
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Slovenia hit 85.6 million euros in 2015, she said.
Miskova praised the strategic location of the two countries.
The forum is meant to discuss ways of bolstering trade cooperation between the two countries and the important role played by the Slovenian Port of Koper in increasing Egypt's exports to Slovenia.
