Lebanese security sources said that customs police seized Friday, money which was smuggled in a Kia car. This occured at the border of the Jdeidet Yabous crossing on the international road between Beirut and Damascus Police said that after searching the car, money which was wrapped in black bags and hidden in a secret pocket in the car boot was seized. The confiscated cash, included 2 million Saudi Riyals, 50 thousand Qatari Riyals, 56 thousand Emirate Dirhams, 5500 Jordanian Dinars, as well some Euros. Investigations are now taking place, with the aim of determining the information about the identity of the carrier, and whether he has links with any terrorist entities.
