A government official in South Korea announced that it is likely that leaders of South Korea, China and Japan will hold a trilateral summit in Seoul on of May 25 and 26.Korea Radio quoted the official, who did not disclose his identity, as saying today that Seoul has proposed to the Chinese and Japanese governments the convening of a two-day trilateral summit meeting in the month of next May, explaining that it is also possible that bilateral summits will be held between the three countries.The three leaders are expected to discuss in the next summit the situation in the Korean Peninsula and ways to enhance economic cooperation.South Korea, China and Japan host the trilateral summit alternately.
