South Korea to stage nationwide civil defense drill on Wednesday

South Korea will hold a nationwide civil defense drill this week as part of an emergency training against a possible North Korean attack, an anti-disaster body said Tuesday. The 15-minute drill is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. on Wednesday with a mock air raid, during which all road traffic will be restricted and pedestrians will be asked to take cover at nearby air raid shelters, subway stations or other designated underground facilities, the National Emergency Management Agency said.
