South Korean president to visit Britain

South Korean President Park Geun-hye will pay a state visit to Britain on Nov. 5 to 7 in what would be her first Europe trip since taking office in February, South Korean president house said Wednesday. Park will be the second South Korean president to make a state visit to London after Roh Moo-hyun in 2004, according to local media. Seoul and London are currently discussing the details of the visit. The year of 2013 is the 130th anniversary of relations between the two countries.
