South Korea's President to Hold Talks with US, China, Japan Leaders

South Korea's President Park Geun-hye will leave for Washington on Wednesday to attend the fourth Nuclear Security Summit and hold a series of talks on the sidelines with the leaders of the US, China and Japan. 
Seoul's presidential office announced on Tuesday that President Park will first hold a summit with US President Barack Obama ahead of the two-day multilateral nuclear security dialogue beginning on Thursday, according to Korea's KBS World Radio News. 
The president's Senior Secretary for Foreign Affairs and National Security Kim Kyou-hyun explained that Park and Obama will reaffirm South Korea-US joint defense readiness and hold in-depth discussions on ways to work together to carry out their sanctions against Pyongyang. 
Following three-way talks with the US and Japan, Park will hold a one-on-one meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. 
The South Korean president will then sit down with Chinese President Xi Jinping for their first bilateral talks following the North's fourth nuclear test in January. 
The South Korean top office said that Park and Xi will focus on issues related to faithfully implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2270 against Pyongyang. They will also seek to beef up their communication over the North Korean nuclear issue. 
After holding another bilateral summit with newly elected Argentine president Mauricio Macri in the US, President Park will fly to Mexico. During her four-day stay in Mexico, Park will switch gears and focus on ways to enhance bilateral economic cooperation during her summit with President Enrique Pena Nieto.
