Speaker al-Ghani's visit to Tehran successful ambassador

The current visit by Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation to Tehran was very successful, said Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iran Majdi Al-Thifiri on Wednesday. The ambassador told (KUNA) in a statement that Al-Ghanim's participation in the ninth session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUOICM) emphasized the influence of the State of Kuwait and its ability to ensure the success of the conference and to enhance dialogue among Muslim countries. This visit came within the framework of compatibility between formal diplomatic and public diplomacy to strengthen Kuwait's regional and international role, he added. Regarding Al-Ghanim's meeting with the President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rohani, the Ambassador Al-Thifiri said that both sides stressed the necessity of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries under the framework of the joint responsibility to enhance regional security and stability.
