Srour meets families of Jordanian prisoners in Israel

Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Saad Al Srour on Wednesday met with a delegation representing the families of Jordanian prisoners in Israeli jails, after staging a sit-in in front of Parliament. The delegation submitted to Al Srour a letter that includes several demands, such as the provision of health care for the prisoners, the organization of regular visits from the prisoners’ families, and the opportunity for the prisoners to complete their sentences in Jordanian jails. Al Srour said the Lower House is paying attention to this issue and promised to follow up on the prisoners issue with the prime minister and other concerned parties.
