Sudan’s Minister of Communications Eissa Bushra hailed the breakthroughs in Qatar’s communications sector, noting that Qatar has a strong infrastructure and excellent expertise in this area. Talksing to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of the 25th Universal Postal Congress, currently underway in Doha, Bushra expressed his country’s keenness on benefiting from the Qatari communications’ expertise, lauding the deep bilateral relations between the two countries in this area as well as other areas. “We want to deepen these relations further,” Bushra told QNA. The Sudanese minister hinted that the two countries are about to sign a cooperation agreement in the field of communications, pointing to the recent activity between Q-Post and Sudan Post. He also highlighted the great developments in the Sudan Post, stressing the significant role of the post and its benefits. Speaking of 25th Universal Postal Congress, Bushra said that holding the conference in Doha gives it a new dimension, and hosting such a global event in the Arab world underlines that regional countries are going in the footsteps of the international community and contribute effectively in international events and activities. Bushra added that Qatar’s good hosting and organization of the conference emphasizes that the Arab world can be a hub for international conferences and a platform for advanced ideas and visions that contribute to the new world.
