The Minister of Justice, Mohamed Bushara Dosa, has called for enhancement of the legal work all over the country for safeguarding the people's rights. Addressing the Legal Forum on Mining Issues, which was organized by the Ministry of Mining in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice Tuesday, Dosa described the partnership between the Ministries of Justice and Mining as a golden one. He said that the mineral resources represent a national wealth that its revenues shall be for all the people of Sudan. Dosa affirmed the keenness to formulate good laws coping with the directives of the Presidency of the Republic for expanding the rule of law country-wide as well as establishing efficient legal units and qualification of the legal cadres toward enhancing the legal work in the country. He said that the Sudanese legal cadres are known at the whole Arab World for their efficiency, justice and honesty thanks to the skills and experience which gained through their work at different ministries and institutions. The Minister of Justice announced his agreement that the Legal Administration at the Ministry of Mining shall be a nucleus for foundation of a specialized legal administration concerned with guaranteeing the rights of all parties. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Legal Administration at the Ministry of Mining, Dr. Amir Ibrahim Abbashar, affirmed the full coordination between the Ministries of Mining and Justice toward guaranteeing rights and expanding the rule of law. He said that the forum will review a number of working papers on a number of issues including the legislations, agreements, registration of companies as well as the social and environmental liability in the mining field.
