Syria centre of global jihad, says Israeli official

The Head of Israeli Military Intelligence AvivKochavi said Wednesday that Syria became the center of global jihad. Claiming that there were many people from all around the world in Syria to come for jihad but joined the radical groups, Kochavi said "The ones who come to Syria do not only fight against Assad regime. Their actual target is to establish an Islamic government which is based on Islamic principles." "Syria has become the center of global jihad. The recent situation is really worrisome" said Kochavi. He also stated that Israel tightened the security on Syria border.
