
The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Friday announced that it has recieved information from Syria that was additional to the disclosure on its chemical weapons programme which it submitted on 21 September. The Director General of the Hague-based body Ahmet Uzumcu in in a press release this evening said the additonal information by Syria was provided to the OPCW Executive Council which met on Thursday. The additional submission is being reviewed by the OPCW. The Director General is expected to provide an update to OPCW Member States when he addresses the 74th Session of the Executive Council that begins next Tuesday, it added
