Syrian army continues special operations against terrorists

Units of the Armed Forces on Saturday inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist groups in a series of operations targeting their dens in Douma farms, Harasta, Zamalka and Erbin in Damascus Countryside. SANA reporter quoted an official source in the province as saying that a terrorists' den was destroyed in the farms between Douma and Harasta with all the ammunition and weapons inside. A number of terrorists were killed in the operation, while others were injured, added the source, noting that among the dead were terrorists Bilal Ghbeis, Mohammad al-Talla, Mohamad Arafeh and Mohammad al-Habboul, leader of an armed terrorist group. Army units also targeted gatherings of terrorists in Zamalka and Erbin, destroying their vehicles which they used in their movement and transfer of weapons. The operations resulted in killing a number of terrorists among whom Ahmad Hjeiko, Qarhaman Mashel and Omar Abdul-Rahman were identified. A unit of the armed forces carried out several accurate, special operations, destroying dens and hideouts of terrorists in Idleb countryside. SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the army unit confronted the armed terrorist groups in the surroundings of Wadi al-Daif and other towns, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists and destroying their vehicles. The source added that another army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists who were blocking roads, attacking citizens and looting private and public properties on Sarakeb-Idleb highway and Sarmin, killing a number of them and wounding many others. A second army unit targeted hideouts of terrorists in al-Nairab, Khan al-Subul and Banesh, inflicting heavy losses upon them. The army stormed into a warehouse used by terrorists to stockpile weapons and ammunition in the area of Ehsim in Idleb countryside. An official source told SANA reporter that the warehouse was completely destroyed and scores of the terrorists were killed in the operation. The source added that the Armed Forces also destroyed several terrorists' hideouts in the areas of Maarat Ma'sareen, Bennish, Kifroma, Kifr-Roheen, Qiminas, al-Neirab, al-Sheikh Hussein, al-Shughr and al-Alya. The Armed Forces continued its operations against the terrorists in Aleppo and its countryside. An official source told SANA reporter that the army targeted terrorists' hideouts in the areas of al-Neirab, Tal Hasel, Tal Shughaib, Kifr Antoun, Tal Ajjar, Meng and Mayir in Aleppo countryside and killed scores of them. The source added that the army also targeted terrorists' hideouts in the areas of al-Halwanyeh, al-Bab, Bani Zaid, al-Naqqareen in Aleppo city, killing scores of the terrorists and destroying 6 vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition.   Units of the armed forces today carried out several qualitative operations against armed terrorist groups in al-Rastan, al-Zaafaran, Akrab, Tal Dahab and al-Houleh in Homs countryside. A military source in Homs told SANA reporter that the operations led to the killing of many terrorists, among them Abdullah al-Hussein, Shamel al-Ahmad, Shuaib al-Qasem, Ridwan Snu, Naser Azouz in addition to destroying a mortar and two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.   Other army units destroyed seven missiles, a mortar, two missiles' launching-pads in Akrab, killing a number of terrorists. Malik al-Kurdi, Rashid Kokag, Abdul-Kareem Saad al-Din, Obeida al-Qatebi who was expert in bombing cars, were identified among the killed terrorists. A military source told SANA reporter that the army eliminated scores of terrorists in the towns of al-Sultanyeh and Kifraya in Homs countryside. The source added that scores of terrorists were also killed in the town of al-Habbat and the city of al-Rastan. The source highlighted that another army unit clashed with terrorist groups in the towns of al-Shumaryeh and Bait Rab'a, killing and injuring scores of the terrorists. Meanwhile, the army clashed with an armed terrorist group that tried to attack a military checkpoint in Telbeseh area. Another army unit clashed with terrorists who were attacking the people of al-Husn town and killed scores of them. The Armed Forces foiled an attempt of an armed terrorist group to infiltrate into Syria from the Lebanese lands. The army clashed with the terrorists in the area of Jouseh in al-Qseir, and killed and wounded all of the group's members. Meanwhile, A source in Homs province said that 15 citizens, who were kidnapped by terrorist groups in al-Mishirfeh area, were set free by the authorities. Units of the Armed Forces continued pursuing the armed terrorist groups in Darayya, al-Otaiba, al-Mansoura and al-Bahdaliya areas in Damascus countryside and eliminated scores of them. An official source told SANA reporter that a number of sniper terrorists were eliminated around the train railways in Darayya city, including Mohammad al-Mustafa and Bashir al-Jajeh, in addition to destroying a vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun and seizing weapons and ammunitions. Some areas in Darayya city are witnessing remarkable stability after the Armed Forces eliminated terrorist gatherings and dens. The source pointed out that army units pursued terrorists in al-Mansoura and al-Otaiba towns and eliminated several of them. Army units clashed with terrorists in al-Bahdaliya town and killed and wounded many gunmen and destroyed three cars, one of them was equipped with a heavy machinegun. Two terrorist groups clashed with each other after a dispute erupted over distribution of stolen items in Lattakia countryside. Meanwhile, the engineering units dismantled two 7-kg remotely-controlled explosive charges planted by terrorists on al-Haffah-Salah Eddin road. A source in Lattakia province told SANA reporter that the army targeted a terrorists' hideout in al-Shaqra town in Lattakia countryside, killing and injuring scores of them. In Hama city, an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in Masha' al-Arba'een neighborhood, killing scores of them and seizing their weapons. An official source told SANA reporter that terrorist Ahmad Hamdo Sibeh was identified among the dead.
